Member perks
Member perks, paid for by the companies that deliver them
A perk is a defined piece of work or a product that a partner company gives an HCC member at no charge: a website review, a business profile tune-up, a review-card kit or a seasonal campaign kit.
The partner pays for its perk in full. HCC pays partners nothing, partners pay HCC nothing, and a perk never has anything to do with a check.
Opens January 15, 2027
Members find perks on the Perks tab of the HCC portal. The tab opens on January 15, 2027, with the cards of the partners who have signed by then.
The partner terms are published before any partner signs. They are not published yet.
How perks work
Six rules every perk follows
These rules come from HCC's draft Perks Partner Terms. They are the same for every member and every partner.
-
Every level
The same perks for every member
Cornerstone, Pillar and Keystone members see the same perks. A higher level never unlocks a better one.
-
Once a year
One redemption per perk, per year
A member redeems each perk once per membership year. Each location's membership counts on its own. One tap on Redeem; the card shows "requested", then "delivered".
-
On every card
"Delivered by" and the partner's name
A card shows only the perk's title, what the member gets and any limits, how long delivery takes, and the line "Delivered by" with the partner company. HCC never praises or ranks a partner.
-
Fair order
No partner can buy a better spot
The cards appear in an order that changes every day at random. No partner can pay for, ask for or influence where its card sits, and no partner gets an exclusive.
-
Never part of a check
A perk never affects a check
Using a perk, or not, never changes a check, a level or a seal. HCC keeps the perks ledger apart from every check file, and the check system never reads it.
-
Your details
Partners get only what you send
A partner receives only what you type into your redemption request. HCC never gives a partner its member list, evidence, check files, cases, payment details or renewal dates.
The Perks tab carries one line at the top, word for word: "Perks are offered and paid for by the businesses that deliver them. HCC does not endorse any partner. Using a perk never affects an HCC check."
Out of bounds
What a perk can never be
Some things look like help but would mix a perk with HCC's checks or HCC's own services. None of them can ever be a perk:
- A listing, a featured spot, a ranking or advertising in any directory, app or map that shows HCC status.
- Anything offered as help to pass an HCC check, reach a level or keep a seal.
- Food, ingredients or supplies whose sources HCC checks.
- Halal certification or supervision of any kind.
- A review or rewrite of the halal wording on menus, signs, websites or listings, because that is an HCC Service.
Does your company want to give HCC members a perk?
Read the rules for partners in plain words, then send an offer. Sending it signs nothing.
