HCC is getting ready to open. No place has been checked yet, and no seal has been issued. These pages describe how HCC's checks will work.

For partner companies

Offer HCC members a perk

If your company does work that helps a restaurant, market, butcher, bakery or caterer, you can offer it to HCC members as a perk. Your company pays for it in full. HCC pays you nothing, and you pay HCC nothing.

Every partner works under the same published terms, and anyone who meets them can take part. This page explains them in plain words and holds the form to send an offer.

The terms come first

HCC publishes the Perks Partner Terms before any partner signs. They are not published yet. Sending the form signs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Member perks open on January 15, 2027.

The rules in plain words

What every partner agrees to

From HCC's draft Perks Partner Terms. The published terms will say the same things in full, and they are identical for every partner, word for word.

  • Money

You pay for your perk, all of it

Your people, tools, materials and travel are yours to cover. HCC pays nothing, in money or in kind. You pay HCC nothing: no fee to join, no fee per redemption, no commission and no share of a later sale. You never charge the member for the perk itself; more work is a separate deal you quote in writing.

  • Every level

Every member sees the same perk

Cornerstone, Pillar and Keystone members all see your perk, on the same terms. Each member redeems it once per membership year, and each location counts on its own.

  • The card

    "Delivered by" and your company

Your card shows the perk's title, what the member gets and any limits, how long delivery takes, and "Delivered by" with your company's name. Nothing more. HCC writes it from facts you supply, and you confirm them before it goes live. No words of praise or ranking, and the cards appear in a random order no one can buy.

  • Checks

Nothing about a perk can affect a check

Using your perk never helps or hurts a business's check, level or seal. HCC's check system never reads the perks ledger. You never contact a checker, a second reviewer, the reviewing imam or a standards committee member about any business; trying is a breach, and HCC removes the partner.

  • What you say

    Never "supports HCC", never endorsed

You never say or suggest that buying from you supports or funds HCC, or that HCC endorses or vouches for you. You do not use HCC's name, the seal, the level names or the logo in your marketing. The one allowed mention: telling a member who redeemed that the request came through the HCC Perks tab.

  • Data

Only what the member sends you

You receive only what a member types into the redemption request. HCC never gives you member lists, evidence, check files, cases, payment details or renewal dates. You keep what you receive safe, never sell or share it, and delete it when the member asks.

Who can take part

Open to any company that meets the criteria

HCC may accept any number of partners, including several that offer the same kind of perk. No partner can ask HCC to leave a competitor out.

Who qualifies

  • A business in good standing where it is organized.
  • A perk with a concrete deliverable that is useful to a food business, at no charge to members.
  • The same kind of work already delivered to paying clients.
  • The published terms accepted without changes.

Who cannot be a partner

  • A halal certifier or supervising agency.
  • A supplier of food, ingredients or meat whose goods HCC checks.
  • A business that sells help to get through HCC's check.
  • A business owned by, controlled by or employing an HCC checker, second reviewer, standards committee member or the reviewing imam, while that person serves HCC.

What a perk can never be

  • A listing, featured spot, ranking or ad in any directory, app or map that shows HCC status. A directory company can be a partner; its perk can never be a placement.
  • Anything offered as help to pass a check, reach a level or keep a seal.
  • Food, ingredients or supplies whose sources HCC checks.
  • Halal certification or supervision of any kind.
  • A review or rewrite of halal wording, which is an HCC Service.

From offer to card

What happens after you send an offer

  1. A council officer reads it

Every offer waits on HCC's desk for the council officers who keep the perks catalog. One of them writes back to the email address you give, in HCC's own name.

  2. The terms are published

Before anyone signs, HCC publishes the Perks Partner Terms. Once they are out, HCC reviews each offer against them within 15 business days and answers in writing. A no says which rule was not met, and no one with a stake in your company takes part in deciding.

  3. You sign, then your card goes live

You accept the terms as written and confirm the facts on your card. The card goes live on the Perks tab, and members start to redeem it.

  4. Twelve months at a time

The terms run 12 months and continue only if you confirm your card in writing. Nothing renews by itself and no charge ever applies. Either side can end them with 30 days' notice, and HCC may remove a perk at any time.

Offer HCC members a perk

Tell us about the perk your company would give HCC members. Your company pays for it in full, HCC pays nothing and charges nothing, and members at every level see the same perk. A council officer reads every offer and writes back to the email address you give.

Sending this form signs nothing. HCC publishes the Perks Partner Terms before any partner signs, and a perk card goes live only after that.

What a member gets, any limits, and how long delivery takes. For example: a written review of the business's website, delivered within 30 days.

Perks are the same at every level, and each member redeems a perk once per membership year. Say what else applies, such as one per location.

What the same work costs your paying clients, for example $300.
