Not open in your state yet?
HCC opens one state at a time, when it can check there properly and within that state's law. Where it does not check yet, it takes no application and no payment. Leave your email and the state, and we write when HCC opens there.
The list is free and open to anyone: a business that wants to be checked, or a family that wants to look up places near home.
What we keep
- Your email address, the state and the date. Nothing else.
- Nothing at all until you confirm: we email you a link, and your address is kept only if you open it within 7 days.
- The confirmation email carries a link that removes your address at any time.
- When HCC opens there, we send one email and take your address off the list.

HCC does not check businesses everywhere yet. Leave your email and choose the state, and we will write when HCC opens checks there. We keep only your email address, the state and the date. No application and no payment.

A seal is only as good as the checks behind it. HCC opens a state or a country only when its rules there are clear and its people can reach the places that apply.

New York and New Jersey
Waiting on a legal answer
Both states have their own halal laws. HCC opens there only after its counsel answers whether HCC must first register with the state. Until then, HCC takes no application and no payment from a business in either state.

Canada and Mexico
Next, one at a time
After the United States, HCC plans to open in Canada and then Mexico, each under its own rules. A French seal for Quebec and a Spanish seal for Mexico will come with them.

What you can use now
The Standard is public, so a business anywhere can read what the check looks for. Some HCC Services, such as the state compliance kit and training seats, are offered in every US state. The guides explain your state's halal law in plain words.
